No two bloggers have the same requirements, and no two blogging platforms offer the same set of features and pricing. Use this comparison chart to determine which blogging software is best for your needs as a creator.

WordPress

WordPress has long been one of the most popular blog platforms on the internet. This is owing in large part to the platform’s incredible adaptability.

There are two platforms available. WordPress.org is a free blogging platform without web hosting. WordPress.com is a one-stop shop for website creation and hosting.

  • A wide range of prices is available. The cheapest paid WordPress plan (aside from the free version) costs $4 per month, while the most expensive plan costs $45 per month (as of Jan. 2022). Different features, such as integrated Google Analytics, advanced SEO tools, and automated site backups, are added to each tier of the service. Storage capacity increases with higher tiers, with the Business and eCommerce tiers topping out at 200 GB.
